We recently went to our 6 month checkup. We are in week 24 now - the time is flying. Everything is still going along great. The baby is measuring 10-12 inches in length now and weighs a couple of pounds. The heartbeat is still very strong - listening to it is our favorite part of the visit. We are finally rotating through the other doctors in the practice that could possibly deliver our baby. This time we saw a young woman, Dr. Remedios, that we really liked. I am still hoping Dr. Brough delivers our baby, because he was my gynecologist before, and we really really like him, but we will get whoever is on call when Baby decides to make its grand entrance. The kicking has turned into full on aerobics. I feel like there is a power step class video playing in my stomach at times. I mostly enjoy it... :-) James gets to feel it all the time, too, which is pretty cool. Both of us have been very busy at work, so we've not made much progress on the nursery. There's always next week, right???
