Grabbing!

London's newest developments -

Grabbing things! She grabs everything - my hair, my shirt, my earrings, any blanket nearby, her diaper cloths, and the best - her toys! Even while she nurses, she has to grab onto something, whether it be my hair, shirt, or blankie (yes, while I'm nursing, I get my hair pulled. Sweet, isn't it?)

Toys! This week is the very first week she's shown real interest in her toys. I gave her a bright colored link of plastic circles, and she couldn't get her eyes off it or quit holding it and inspecting it. And of course, chewing on it. Additionally, she loves her swing now. It has a toy bar on it with a mirror and a little ball for her to spin that makes noise. She smiles at herself in the mirror and spins, spins, spins that ball, loving the noise it makes! One point of interest - I've noticed her doing most touching with her right hand - so maybe she's a righty!

Lots of laughs! London is still cooing and talking, but doing much more laughing! We can easily make her laugh now by making certain noises or rubbing her tummy real fast - she giggles for a long time. It's adorable, and is a deep toned husky giggle.

Rubbing her feet together and clasping her hands! She does this all the time now. I guess it makes her feel good. :-)

London is growing well. She's a great eater. No plans to start solid foods anytime soon - she's doing great on milk alone. We may venture into the rice cereal some time in February - we'll see!

As for sleeping....she gave us 3 glorious nights of a full nights sleep, where she slept from 10 - 7. So, we jumped for joy, thinking, our 3 month old sleeps through the night now!! Yippee!!! Well, that was all we got. 3 nights. For the past week, she's been back to her nightly 3am feeding. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted, right?

3 months really turned a corner for us- I loved seeing all the new developments! It's totally normal for her to play with sleeping thru the night- now you know she can do it, so be encouraged!

Isn't it amazing how much they change in such a short amount of time. I was telling your mom the other day that she reminds me of your baby pictures. I know she looks a lot like James but she has your daintiness, she is precious!
