London rolled over for the first time yesterday. We were able to capture the whole thing on video - cool, I know! As first time parents, this is monumental. She's done it several times since, from stomach to back, and then back on to her tummy.
London's eye infection is almost gone now. We've had several days of goupy sticky eyes, and fun times giving her the eye drops. She is looking much better! When she went for her eye appointment, they weighed her, and she's up to 13 lbs, 6 oz. Not quite a butterball yet, but getting a little thicker!
I do have to brag on what a little trooper we have. DFW had an icy day yesterday, and we lost power around 3pm. By 6pm, our house temp had dropped into the low 60s, and it was heading down fast. We made the quick decision to head to a hotel, after we called the power company and found out we weren't to be fixed until well after midnight. We stayed at a really nice hotel down the street, Hotel Palomar. London was a champ! She loved every bit of the excitement in the hotel, rolling around all night on our king bed, giggling and jabbering. Not one cry. She slept very well in the crib they brought us - not a peep all night in terms of crying. She has started jabbering a lot in her crib though...she 'talked' to us many times during the night. Sounds like she tells herself little stories.
Her 4 month Dr. checkup is next week, where I'm sure they will tell us more amazing things about her and go into detail about how advanced she is.
